The Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) is one of the largest agriculture-focused higher education institutions in Europe. On its five campuses – Gödöllő, Buda, Kaposvár, Keszthely and Gyöngyös – and at several of its training locations, including Szarvas, it provides high-quality, continuously renewed training courses for its students in accordance with the challenges of 21st century technology.
MATE has about 2,500 employees and nearly 13,000 students. There are 20 institutes at our University, which work closely with the central organizational units and the campus directorates. The rules of operation of the organizational units are contained in the Organizational and Operational Regulations (SZMR), which can be found on our central website.
