Microsoft 365 app

Students and employees of MATE can use the online and desktop version of Microsoft 355 apps for free if they have active legal relationship. In the package, you can  find Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Access. The application is available on both Windows and Macintosh systems.

If you want to access Microsoft 365, use your MATE ID with the @uni-mate.hu extension. First you must activate (or update) your password at JoKeR. For new users, it takes at least 30-60 minutes to login to the Microsoft account after the password change.

You can use the web version after you enter to https://www.microsoft365.com/, just click on the proper app on the left.

If you want to use the downloadable version of the apps, please follow the installation process:

1. After opening the website above, click the App Launcher icon in the upper-left corner, then select More apps.

 2. In the Install apps menu, click the Microsoft 365 Apps button. 

3. On the Apps & devices tab, after selecting your language, click the Install Office button. 

4. Your browser will download a file named OfficeSetup.exe. Run it to begin installing the M365 package.

5. When the installation process is complete, click the Close button.
