Changes in accessibility and on-call services at Kosáry Domokos Library and Archives

Due to the renovations undergoing  at the University,  starting May 22nd, 2023, Kosáry Domokos Library and Archives will become  a CONSTRUCTION SITE.

The Library cannot be accessed by any entrance starting May 22nd, so all visits that require personal presence will be carried out by appointment only and after prior coordination of the location.

Book pick-up hours:

Monday:         14.00 – 15.00
Tuesday:       10.00 – 11.00
Wednesday: 14.00 – 15.00

Borrowing books

Our electronic library catalogue is available remotely at http://opac3.godollo.uni-mate.hu/.

To request a loan, please send your library card number and a list of the documents you wish to borrow to konyvtar@uni-mate.hu, or request a book reservation via our online catalogue or the qulto mobile application.

All our reading areas and stacks have been closed, so access to our collections is limited and it may take longer than usual to fulfill loan requests.

Due to the limited accessibility of our stock, please be sure to check our confirmation letter about the availability of the item, as well as the time and location of the pick-up. You will be able to collect the books by presenting your library card.

Loan renewal

As usual, everyone will receive an automatic reminder e-mail about the expiration date of their current loans. The loans may be renewed online by logging in to the library catalogue interface; via the qulto mobile app; by e-mail at konyvtar@uni-mate.hu or by phone at 06-28/522-000/1173.

Please pay attention to deadlines during this period, as there are no automatic renewals.

Book return and debt settlement

Borrowed books can be returned via the book drop box at Main Building’s main entrance or by registered mail.

Starting November 28, 2022, no late fees are being charged for late returns, but any previously incurred debts need to be paid. Students taking their final exams can settle their debts by appointment only.

Enrollment

Enrollment can be made online by filling in the form at https://onlinekutatas.uni-mate.hu/index.php/93326?lang=hu

Once the online registration form is completed, our staff will send a confirmation e-mail to the email address provided. The Library card can be collected with the first borrowed items.

Expired library cards will be renewed after data verification by email during this period.

Interlibrary loans

​​​​​​​ Interlibrary loan requests are accepted exclusively by e-mail at konyvtarkozi@uni-mate.hu and are handled on a case-by-case basis.
